FAQ’s
Find answers to common questions about our HPX system.
+
- What is the HPX System Designed for?
- The HPX System is built for farms, acreages, and rural homes using untreated or well water. It’s ideal for full household use and can be sized to support higher demand situations, including properties where multiple homes are supplied from one well.
- Client Maintenance Frequency
- Varies by water quality and usage. Most systems for untreated water require filter changes every 1-2 months.
- How Much Water Does the System Waste?
- The HPX System operates at a 1:1 product-to-reject ratio, meaning for every gallon of treated water produced, only one gallon is rejected. This makes it one of the most efficient whole-home systems in the industry and more efficient than most point-of-use RO systems.
- Who Installs and Services the Systems?
- All our systems are professionally manufactured, installed and serviced by Walker's Water Systems.
- Can This System be Expanded or Upgraded Later?
- Yes. The HPX System is modular and can be adjusted or expanded if your water usage changes or additional buildings are added.
- Is the HPX System Safe for my Septic System?
- Yes. The HPX System is safe for septic systems. It does not use salt or harsh chemicals that can negatively impact septic performance.
